Hi Stephen, The only way to import MusicXML files into Finale 2006 on an Intel Mac is to run the Windows version of Finale 2006 on your Mac, using Parallels, Fusion, Boot Camp, or something similar.
MusicXML uses technology that Apple does not support in Rosetta, so there's no other way to run the MusicXML feature in pre-2007 versions of Finale on an MacBook Pro. Intel Macs came out after Finale 2006 was released. The other alternative is to use MusicXML with Finale 2006 on a PowerPC Mac, if you still have one available.
