Please, never place a link in "correct" grammatical context. Periods and other 
signs will ruin the links.

Always place links in separate lines preferably enclosed in <> brackets.

On your Finale related matter: 

Opening the file in the newest version and Choosing the selection tool should 
give you access to any element for moving or deleting them.
