Where should the chorus be placed in a score for concert band?

In traditional orchestra scores, chorus is just above the strings,
which would mean BELOW the percussion. I know concert band is special
(string bass, though a string, is below the tuba and above
percussion) but I have always placed chorus at the very bottom of my
concert band scores. Odd instruments usually are down at the bottom
(like solo voice, harp, piano, etc.)
I am doing a concert band with chorus project right now, but I also
have a rhythm section (guitar, piano, amplified bass, drumset) so I
am treating the whole thing as a big Broadway pit orchestra with the
rhythm section BELOW the voice staves. The classical percussion,
however, is ABOVE the voices in the traditional concert band
position. In cases with rhythm section, I tend to want the voices as
close to the piano as possible for rehearsal purposes, just above the
piano. If you have a rehearsal piano reduction, it would be below the
chorus in your concert band score.
