See http://perfectpitch.ucsf.edu/ It is the first time I have ever had a formal test. Interested to discover that it fades as people get older: it isn't just me! I think that Absolute Pitch has advantages and disadvantages. Useful at times, but frustrating if you have an acute sense of pitch and are asked to play a piano which is a semitone sharp, as happened to me about 38 years ago!
