Hi Johannes, I would suggest Filemaker Pro for an excellent Mac and PC compatible relational database program. I use the Mac version for cataloguing the West Coast Symphony's large collection of works. Like any Apple software, it's easy, intuitive and reasonably priced. I know of many orchestra librarians that use this software as an option to OPAS, which is PC only and very, very expensive.
