I recently switched to a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard (10.6.8). 
Before the switch, I used Finale 2K7 on a Dual Processor G4 that ran 
Tiger (10.4.11) and was happy with the program.  The problem is:  2K7 
will not launch on my Intel MacBook.  It tries, but quits before 
completing the startup....

What gives?

It says right on the box that 2K7 runs on Intel Macs.  I reinstalled 
the program but the problem persists.  I also tried making the 
MacBook Pro open the program using Rosetta, but it did not help. 
Later versions of Finale run on this Mac without issue.
