I recently switched to a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard (10.6.8). Before the switch, I used Finale 2K7 on a Dual Processor G4 that ran Tiger (10.4.11) and was happy with the program. The problem is: 2K7 will not launch on my Intel MacBook. It tries, but quits before completing the startup....
What gives? It says right on the box that 2K7 runs on Intel Macs. I reinstalled the program but the problem persists. I also tried making the MacBook Pro open the program using Rosetta, but it did not help. Later versions of Finale run on this Mac without issue.
