trying out a new (but borrowed) MIDI keyboard and a couple of things not working right. i am not terribly familiar with MIDI input, so if anyone has any ideas? it is a USB evolution eKeys (37) that i plugged in, piddled with a few settings until i got it to work :-)
1) there seem to be notes stuck sometimes and other times certain notes don't play. 2) i can't turn off the playback (despite having unchecked Speedy/Playback) i have these issues in F2012 and 2010, so can i assume that (1) the keyboard is wonky, and (2) i just don't know what i am doing enough to figure this one out? mmmmm, i remember MIDI thru having something to do with something, no? so, do i need it? _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list Finale@shsu.edu http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
