Can't be sure what is happening without seeing it but try this: Go back to your score and make sure you have defined the piano group throughout the whole chart. Now return to the part and change the group to not display the name. That might fix your problem. Generating the piano part again may also do it but you may not want lose the work you've done on it. Also, make sure you're changing the group definition to not display the name as opposed to deleting it. You can definitely have the score label and remove it in the part - there just seems to be a necessary order to doing it.
