in page view (where your problem staff appears), i was able to control-click (mac) the staff handle and select "delete staves". done. does this not work for you?
in scroll view, the barlines on the 2 non-existent staves at the bottom of your score i do no believe you will get rid of. but when i had a similar problem (the last of 80+ staves did not show staf lines in scroll view) there was no effect on (linked) PTs or its appearance in the SC. you should definitely report this to support, they know of the problem but didn't seem to have a solution for it when i reported my "ghost staves". also your case is slightly different than mine. in any case, it seems to be related to the force hide staff style setting. although you don't seem to have used this in your score (as far as i can see). i am sending you the score back with the staff deleted but you should nevertheless try it on your end. if you can't and i can delete it, it might help locate the problem for support... _______________________________________________ Finale mailing list [email protected] http://lists.shsu.edu/mailman/listinfo/finale
