The only scanning software worth using is SHARPEYE. As long as the original is sharp, a 300-600 dpi TIFF or BMP will be over 90% useful.
An added benefit is that with the proper clefs, transposed scores can be read as well. And it works on MAC in CROSSOVER though a few tricks are necessary. Henry Howey Sent from my iWhatever
