I have a new iMac running Mavericks 10.9.5 and Finale 2012. I have a Yamaha MIDI synthesizer connected to my computer by an M-Audio Midisport 2X2. For the life of me I can’t figure out how to configure the Midi/Audio at the top menu when I open up a file. I used to have this setup connected to my older (now dead) iMac using Finale 2008 (I could open those files in 2012). I can’t input notes using the speedy note entry now. Any suggestions?
