In Windows the Function keys 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 11 and 12 can all be
programmed to call up tools on the main palette. Select the tool,
decide which Fn key to assign to it, hold down the shift key and click
on the chosen Fn key.

Fn1 calls up the on-line help.

Fn10 underlines the single letter in the name of each menu (File, etc.)
that will open the menu when used with Alt. E.g. Alt + e opens the Edit menu.

It was years before I was told about or discovered most of the single
keystrokes that speeded up all sorts of operations. There are lots within
the various menus.
