There's a box to tick, bottom right, after setting the spacing: "Set to scroll view spacing". Simple! I'd love to find a way to set that as my default, but haven't managed that yet. Finale 2014 annoys me pretty much on a daily basis still, after months of use. I expect quite a lot of my frustrations stem from importing sometimes very old files, but I particularly dislike having Finale dictate where expressions get attached to. I just want to position them to suit my personal style.
