This is a problem I have had before, and fortunately I kept a note of the solution, but not before I had gone down the wrong route again.
The problem is setting relative volumes in "VST banks & effects" (ARIA player) that are reset as soon as playback starts. The solution is to use the Mixer instead. My question is why do VST effects edits not work and do they have some other use?
