Master Composter Volunteer Training Friday, February 4, Application Deadline at Cooperative Extension Education Center, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca NY Master Composters are enthusiastic community educators committed to promoting responsible composting. Training involves 20 hours of in-depth class time to take place Thursday evenings, 6:308:30pm, 2/17-5/5 (no class 3/24) plus 20 volunteer hours of learning-through-doing. Trained Master Composters participate in outreach activities, working to reduce waste, protect the environment and improve gardens. $40 training deposit, returned upon completion of volunteer hours.
