Spring Propagation of Fruit Plants Wednesday, March 23, 6:30-8:30 pm @ CCE-Tompkins, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca Sean Dembrosky, owner of Edible Acres in Trumansburg, will lead this hands-on workshop on propagating edible perennial plants from cuttings, seeds and by layering. Species covered will include currants, jostaberries, gooseberries, hardy kiwi, elderberry and nut trees. Sean will also demonstrate taking cuttings of willow and other useful/ornamental woody plants. Participants will be able to take propagation materials from these plants for their own gardens. Fee: $5-$10/person self-determined sliding scale. Advance registration is strongly recommended.
