CCE Tompkins Ag Extension Advisory Committee Seeks New Members

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County is seeking farmers and others
interested in agriculture and horticulture to join the CCETC Agriculture
Program Committee. This is an advisory committee that helps set priorities for
Agriculture and Horticulture Programs with a focus on what area farmers and
gardeners need and expect from extension work.

The committee generally meets about 5 times a year, generally during winter
months, and are asked to fill a 3 year term. Monika Roth, Ag Program Leader,
who chairs the committee says that the committee is most useful in providing a
reality check for programs and guidance on new opportunities that are important
to the farm community and to home gardeners. Anyone interested in becoming
involved as a committee member should email
