Compost with Confidence Classes: "Indoor Composting" & "Winter Composting"
Saturday, September 23 & Saturday, October 21, 12:30-1:30pm @ Ithaca Community Gardens, Carpenter Circle at 3rd Street near Ithaca Farmers' Market (meet at the 'compost demonstration site' on the right before you reach the garden) Making compost at home is EASY and you can learn how at a FREE "Compost with Confidence" class; held one Saturday a month through October. Master Composter volunteers provide information and demonstrations on how to set up and manage a successful compost system. Classes are designed for beginners with info for more experienced composters too. Each class covers compost basics and a topic of the month. Upcoming topics: 9/23: "Indoor Composting"; 10/21: "Winter Composting". Registration is not required but it is helpful for our planning purposes.
