[Fink-beginners] Installing fink 0.3.2a

Title: Installing fink 0.3.2a

I’ve been trying to install Fink 0.3.2a, but I can’t seem to make it work.  I’m doing it in the OSX finder by launching the Fink Installer.pkg.  When I do that, it says that I need an administrator password to install the software. I have the administrator password, but I don’t know where to enter it.  Other apps displayed a dialog to request it.  

I checked the FAQ pages and don’t see anything on this particular problem.  I hope I’m not doing something incredibly dumb.
