I've had a lot of luck by simply taking the name of the file you want to
download -- blackbox-0.61.tar.gz in this case -- and trying it and
variations on it in Google. Sometimes you get a hit right off the bat.
Other times you might find other versions, newer versions, and if you want
you can download those & try them (preferably by making an updated copy of
the relevant /sw/fink/dists/local/.../.../foo.info file).

Other times, you might find sites with repositories of related links, and
a little bit of poking around will get you to what you're looking for. In
other cases, you can revise what you search for in the search engine --
first try stripping away the '.tar.gz' (or whatever) part, then try
looking without the version information.

In every case where I've hit this barrier, I've been able to find an
acceptable replacement within about five minutes of Googling.
