Hi Martin,
The "fink scanpackages" got rid of a lot of the stuff.
Typing "sudo apt-select update" doesn't give me errors.
I tried installing a bunch of packages, but all gave me the same error:
% sudo apt-get install xbomb
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
E: Couldn't find package xbomb
%
I spose that a binary might not be available for all of those that I tried.
I tried using dselect but the interface is horrible. What a nightmare.
What's the easiest way to browse to see what is available pre-compiled?
(other than dselect?)
