no, from what I heard now, the problem comes from Project Builder being updated to version 2. I have not tried this myself, but if you hit ^Z when fink is starting the build, after everything is untarred, you could try opening the .pbroj file and manually updating it. that might work., then in the terminal window type fg to continue the build. This is a guess, and I am thinking about trying it myself soon. YMMV. :-)
