Hi, I don't know if I'm asking the right people ... Simply looking for someone who has a clue with following problem: - tried to install Matlab (Mac OS 10.2). I followed Matlab instructions step-by-step. It all went smoothly. - When I started LaunchMatlab Xdarwin and OroborOSX start up and I have the Matlab Icon appearing in the dock. However Matlab doesn't start and the icon gradually disappears from the dock. No problems with the window-manager-applications.
I tried installation several times with always the same result. A very na�ve question: I installed Xdarwin & OroborOSX via Fink, so could there be some relationship with my Matlab problem (since Matlab installs both programs again)? Probably there's some stupid user-related error, however I'm having a harder time getting a program costing a fortune to run than all my Fink-Unix-stuff (means the fink-people are doing a wonderful job; thanks by the way).
