[Fink-beginners] kmail trouble

I am having trouble getting the outgoing half of kmail working...
I pointed it to my mail server (which is an exchange server), and it drained my mail 
account...
So now I'm kind of commited to going the rest of the way.
I can't get it to send out mail though.  It doesn't bounce back to me as undelivered, 
but my test recipients don't receive the messages.
I pointed it at the binary for sendmail, I thought that was what it wanted...  
/usr/sbin/sendmail.
