Dear finks (so to speak),

I've installed the Apple X11 beta following the instructions on Fink's
webpage without any problem. (The only tweaking I had to do was, because
I use the Bash shell, to make sure my .bashrc sourced /sw/bin/init.sh
so that Fink programs and manpages would be in PATH for the xterm
shell.)

Although I previously had X11 installed, I preferred to work in
Terminal.app because of font readability--I like to use an antialiased
Monaco 15, which is easy on the eyes. I gather from running "xfontsel"
that the Quartz integration of Apple's X11 doesn't extend to including
the antialiased system fonts like Monaco. Right?

If not, what's the best route for readable X11 terminal fonts? I have
the Fink freetype2 and freetype2-shlib packages installed; do I need
to install msttcorefonts and/or other font packages?

(And if you have an xterm font set that you like, could you maybe share
your VT100 font lines from your "XTerm" initialization file?)

Thanks,

DS
