Could you try updating to the latest stable versions?I recently upgraded to Jaguar, and subsequently upgraded fink. finkcommander shows readline 4.2a-5 and mysql 3.23.49-2 installed.
Readline: 4.3-5
mysql: 3.23.54a-3
Maybe you need to do 'fink selfupdate-cvs' (also available in FinkCommaner: Source -> Selfupdate-cvs
Is the problem still there?
