How do I get kde, openoffice.
You can install the bundle-kde package using fink to get KDE.

For openoffice, go to their website (http://www.openoffice.org)--it's
not
in fink.

How do I find out what other unofficial stuff there is?
What do you mean by "unofficial"?
well I tried to install mc a file organizer that I loved from my Linux
days but I says I need a certain library installed to install it, but
that library is not on the official list when I do fink list. So that
got me thinking what else am I missing?

By the way bundle-kde in fact nothing kde shows up with Fink list

Truth is truth, no matter whom speaks it.

Got Kilt?
