Before I actually posted this message, I went and looked in the /local/finkinfo directory as well as the /local/binary-darwin-powerpc directory. The contents are fairly similar -- and the differences are where I'm having trouble (namely, with the postgresql package). Is there anything to this? And why do the files in binary-darwin-powerpc have .deb extensions? (I realize that's probably short for debian, but what's their significance?)
