Once again, stuck on something that's probably quite simple.

When I tried running apt-get the first time, I got the following error message:

Can't exec "/usr/bin/nm": No such file or directory at /sw/lib/perl5/Fink/VirtPackage.pm line 234.

it then claimed it couldn't find the package. I now get this error when doing anything fink, although fink list and so forth still work. There is also no command /usr/bin/nm. That has me a little worried as the command exists on my friend's powerbook (and in fact on my solaris workstation as well).

Again, I am using the x11 version that came with macos 10.3.1. I have not installed the developer tools so maybe this is the problem.
