My wife thinks I spend tooooo much time the computer trying to get Fink
to work. I've installed (and removed) Fink 10+ or so times. With each
install, I get different results--??? corrupted files??? I've followed
the online instructions to the best of my ability. AND still, I run
into loads of errors. Just when something starts to work, another
thing fails. I know that Fink is only at 0.62 and it takes a lot of us
tinkering with it to get it to 1.0, however the ice is getting too thin
for me to deal with this anymore. Sorry folks, but I'm going to try
something else or wait until version 1.0 comes out---or else I may end
up in divorce :(

Well, several things:

1) Version numbers have little to do with readiness of software. There
isn't a version number board that checks to see how ready you are for
1.0.
2) Computers aren't that important.
3) Computers aren't for everyone.

If you have questions, ask them. If you're giving up and selling your
computer, I'd suggest ebay.
