I have an German Powerbook and compiled KDE with Fink. No dirty tricks, just out of the box.
If I open Konsole and create two parallel terminals will the currently used window changed if I press the Shift-* key. So I can not type a star. If I have just one open terminal anything works fine.
What could be the mistake?
Is there someone who is using a german Powerbook?
