Hi everyone, I havent bothered you for a while, but....

I recently tried to install the x11-extension from MacUpdate, just for
curiousity. I shouldn't have. It totally screwed up my x11, it won't even
launch now, I guess the thing has changed something vital in the x11
settings, but I don't know what.

So, my question is - if I do a clean install of x11, will that work with FINK,
and will it recognize all the FINK apps that I installed already, or shall I
have to reinstall all of them again....?

Hope not.....

<AKH> This should work fine--Fink will know to look for X11. After you reinstall it, make sure to run "fink-virtual-pkgs" to make sure that you have the "system-xfree86" virtual packages.
