Sorry if this is off-topic and related only to the Fink Commander Os-X application.
The problem is, that even after installing a fresh copy of Fink and Fink Commander, I am not able to install any softwares from binaries, the button is simply grayed out. My preferred and lazy method is of course to install from binaries whenever possible because of the usual complications raised by installing from source. It also seems slower to install from sources in most cases. (Okay, I made a real rocket-engineer observation here, please bare with me.)
I did what was instructed in the Fink FAQ to remove the previous installation of Fink.
Fink versions are Package manager version: 0.16.2, Distribution version: 0.6.2.cvs
Fink Commander version is 0.5.1.
Os-X is 10.2.8.
I'd be thankful for any advice.
