I tried to install the unstable version of gpsdrive. Thus I added unstable/main to the tree an ran fink selfupdate. So far so good.
Running fink install gpsdrive gave me list of packages which will be installed including xfree86.
I've installed Apple's X11 and system-xfree. I'd like to continue using that. Does that suggestion to install fink's own xfree mean, that gpsdrive won't work with Apple X11. Is there any trick?
<AKH> Do you have the X11 SDK installed? You need if you are installing from source.
