I just installed fink today for the first time on a new Mac. I am used
to apt under Linux/Debian.

I need libsigc++12 (and dev). I searched the fink database and the
package is listed. However after installing fink and doing the apt-get
update/apt-get upgrade,
I cannot grab libsigc++12 (only the older version for gnome 1.4).

The fink distribution I installed in 0.6.2 as shown here:
Laurent-Michels-Computer:/sw/etc root# fink --version
Package manager version: 0.18.2
Distribution version: 0.6.2.cvs
fink info "sees" the package:
Laurent-Michels-Computer:/sw/etc root# fink info libsigc++12

libsigc++12-1.2.5-1: Callback system for widget libraries
libsigc++ is library that implements a callback system that may be
used in widget libraries, abstract interfaces and general programming.
.

Maintainer: Benjamin Reed <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

But apt-get install cannot locate it.

I did not change source list as the default seemed correct
(10.3/release)
I tried to add entries in the Tree line in fink.conf but that didn't
help: This is what I currently have:

Trees: local/main stable/main stable/crypto current/main current/crypto
local/bootstrap

Any suggestion on what I should change to convince apt to grab the
package is most appreciated.

Thanks,
