I too am experiencing extremely slow performance using KDE 3.2 (after having upgraded from a package installation of 3.1). What do I need to do to help diagnose the problem?
What specifically are you ahving issues with? The biggest thing I'm aware of is that the inital versions of the KOffice packages for 3.2 were slow because I had failed to update the libltdl stuff in it. That should be fixed in the ones available for the last week or so, though.
