I am unable to run XDVI. Attempting to run XDVI on a simple .DVI file gives the following error.
% xdvi test.dvi
- mktexpk --mfmode ljfour --bdpi 600 --mag 'magstep(0)' --dpi 600 cmr10 '>&3'
setsid: Operation not permitted
- mktexpk --mfmode ljfour --bdpi 600 --mag 'magstep(0)' --dpi 600 cmr10 '>&3'
setsid: Operation not permitted
xdvi: can't find font cmr10.
xdvi: Not all pixel files were found
What should I do?
This is XDVI version 22.74 running on OS X 10.3.2.
Why are you running this old version? Even the bindist for Panther has 22.77 nowadays. AFAIK this bug has been fixed a couple of months ago.
