Hello everyone,
After upgrading python v2.2 to v2.3 using fink,
I noticed that python is currently installed in /sw/bin [ command: where python ]
I always thought the main executables are usually installed in /usr/bin
What is the difference between /usr/bin and /sw/bin and
why isn't python installed in /usr/bin instead of /sw/bin?

Thanks in advance.
