With regards, to X code Tools 1.5. Should I install X code 1.2 first? I
gave it up some time ago, because I couldn't get the 'segments' stuff
to work (basically i just don't know what it is beyond segments of a CD
image.....).
Best regards,
Steffen

This is because you didn't install the gcc3.1.pkg. You should install
this and also the gcc2.95.pkg if you want to be able to compile all
Fink packages. Unfortunately, those bloody fools^H^H^H^H^H^H^H our
dear friends from Apple have done it again and hid some of the
important packages including these compiler versions and X11SDK.pkg in
a "personalized" installation option, unchecked by default. We should
probably be grateful that they didn't destroy the Java headers this
time.
