When it's good and ready. ;-) 10.4-transitional uses a hybrid of gcc4 and g++3.3 Basically 10.4 (real) will come out when it's known which packages can and cannot be built under g++4, and when a clean upgrade strategy is worked out to minimize the pain for users. -- Alexander K.
