Dear All,
(posted earlier without subject, sorry)
Little problem: after a long build -- package gcc4 --
the computer was shut down. Compiling was complete as
far as i can tell: a dpkg-deb command had just been
issued:
dpkg-deb -b root-gcc4-4.1.0-3
/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/languages
The question is: is it sufficient to send this command
and a similar one for gcc4-shlibs, or is it
recommended to just forget it and rebuild everything ?
One more thing: root-gcc4-shlibs/DEBIAN is empty
(contains no control file, postinst script)
Thanks for your time,

I'm not sure. Give it a try. Just make sure to run "dpkg -c" on the
.debs you generate.
Thanks for your reply.
dpkg-deb -b root-gcc4-4.1.0-3
/sw/fink/dists/unstable/main/binary-darwin-powerpc/languages
built a .deb without complaining and dpkg -c works on
it.
I can't try it with root-gcc4-shlibs-4.1.0-3/ because
there is nothing in the DEBIAN subfolder. Is there a
way to regenerate the required files ?
