[Fink-beginners] grads 1.9-4 fails to compile on Mac G5

All, I posted this before with no responses. Seems like nobody knows what's up with this software I need to use the newly released NCEP re-analysis data. I also e-mailed the mainainer, but got no response to that either. No earlier release is available, either directly of through fink. I have OS-X 10.4.6 and Xcode 2.2.1 compiled with gcc 4.0.1 (earlier versions of gcc didn't work either).
