Hi,
I am trying to compile xpdf, but get the following errors. I guess I
caused some mess by installing ppc-binaries, which cause the
incompatibilities now.
What is the distribution you are using?
The distribution is shown in the "Distribution:" line in
/sw/etc/fink.conf and also in the symbolic link /sw/fink/dists.
It should be 10.4 and not 10.4-transitional.
On intel, you should have installed your Fink by bootstrapping from a
fink tarball and not by upgrading from an older binary installation (at
least right now, until the 10.4 distribution is officially presented to
the public). How to do this is described on the Fink homepage, although
the instructions are already out of date; in particular, you should use
the 0.24.15 tarball and not 0.24.14, and most importantly, there *is* a
binary distribution for 10.4. You can install xpdf and its dependencies
from that binary distribution without compiling them yourself.
