Hi List - This morning I attempted to update autoconf2.5, which had been failing due to some texi2html weirdness, and it updated without a hitch. Many thanks to Alexander and Martin for all the help. The update quickly finished so I thought there had been another failure. It was so nice to see that I could stop troubleshooting and get on to something else. Now I will attempt to finish the remaining updates, while again reminding myself not to get three months behind.
The PowerBook and I have to go on the road in about 24 hours, so I hope there¹s enough time to finish the updates (now trying to remember whether there¹s a way to pause or postpone the update process under Fink Commander if I run out of time ...)
