I think so, yes. It will not rebuild gcc4, just install the previously 
built gcc4-shlibs. (Normally this happens automatically when one runs 
"fink install gcc4". This is again the unusual situation at work here 
where you are, in fink's eyes, "downgrading" a package).

You will need to rebuild pdftk afterwards, I think. Well, you can look 
if it still runs, but chances are that it doesn't. Fortunately, 
rebuilding pdftk doesn't take long.
