I successfully installed the Ethereal network activity monitor and was able to bring it up in X11 under OS X Server. But I couldn't actually use it; I got an error message saying I didn't have permissions to access /dev/something or other (I was running with admin privileges).
Did my best to search out any help information but all I could find was incredibly vague and unhelpful "tips" like "Mac OS X users might have to find another way to..." Thanks a lot.
