i'm new to fink. i'm using finkcommander on mac os x 10.4. i'm trying to get the latest monodevelop package. i am wondering about how to make sure my fink installation has the most up-to-date package versions. for instance, if i run
$ fink list | grep monodevelop monodevelop 0.9-1022 Integrated Development Environment for C# does that mean the version i can install is 0.9 (build 1022)? i know that the monoodevelop project has moved on to version 0.13.1. i would like to keep pace. is there a way to tell fink to use a tar.gz file that i download, rather then getting from cvs? or do i need to run a command to update my package version list? -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/question-about-versions-tf3685120.html#a10300580 Sent from the fink-beginners mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
