I am running Mac OS 10.5.2 on a PowerBook G4. I have Xcode Tools
installed. I downloaded fink-0.28.0 and ran bootstrap, and that all
went fine. Then I started to "fink install" various packages.

There are no binaries pre-compiled for 10.5 in the fink package
archive, and so I am building a lot of stuff. Some of the builds are
failing, and I lack expertise to be-dug them. I have a deep suspicion
that if I could download the 10.4 binaries, that they would work just
fine. How can I force fink to do this?

I have already manually edited fink.conf to say "Distribution: 10.4"
and "UseBinaryDist: true" but it keeps on downloading the source
packages anyway. I must be missing something.

thanks in advance,
                Steve Pate
