You are indeed correct:  the use of "nopython" portion of the package started 
with boost1.34:

http://pdb.finkproject.org/pdb/package.php/boost1.34.nopython

Possibly boost1.32.python might have it, but I'm not sure of that (and it will 
take me a bit of time to build it to verify).
