I've been using Fink for quite a while, mostly with FinkCommander
on Mac
OS X. Now, I moved to Snow Leopard and FinkCommander won't report
any
package installed. I did a manual install of Fink following the
instructions on the home page but still, after going through all
the
hoops, FinkCommander still doesn't show any package.
Is this a known issue?
Thanks in advance!
-Laurent.
Did you try running Fink Commander's "Update table"?
If you have done that and it still doesn't work, this is the first
report that I know of concerning Fink Commander and Snow Leopard;
it may
be the case that it doesn't work there.
I don't know how many times I tried the "update table". Still
reports 0
package. I guess there is some glitch with Snow Leopard,
considering it
hasn't been updated since 2005! I will try to trash the pref file
to see
if that helps.
-Laurent.
Let us know what happens.
Still doesn't show anything. I've tried the update table again and
nothing is showing. I guess I might have to download the source code
to find out what's going on...
